“I realise that I hadn’t ever thanked you for your CPRE objection to the Planning Application for development off Knox Lane, Harrogate. The research necessary to complete these reports must be extensive. You not only picked out all of the many planning issues, but effectively highlighted what would be lost for locals and visitors to the area, should the development go ahead. 

The site isn’t on the agenda for the 15th September so the wait continues. 

Thankyou again for your help, expertise and time. People were very pleased to see CPRE had given their support.”

“My daughter came home from school today with the letter you sent regarding the competition which she hadn’t been able to pick up prior to lockdown.  Her class teacher had let us know about F’s success in the writing competition, however we didn’t know any of the details.

Thank you for writing to us to let us know about F’s success – we have looked at her work and that of the other winners on the website and she is delighted to have her work displayed.  She is also very enthusiastic about this year’s competition.

I was sorry to learn that there isn’t to be a prizegiving at the AGM this year, however that is entirely understandable due to the circumstances.

I think that the competition is a great idea for school’s engagement in the countryside and want to thank you for selecting F’s work and writing to us.
